Request a Transcript FAQ

Westfield State University in partnership with the National Clearinghouse now offers online official transcript ordering services!  You can access the system and place your order 24/7.

How do I order an official electronic transcript online?

Please visit the .  You will need to have the following information ready:  College Wide ID Number (example A12345678) OR your Social Security Number**, a valid email address and phone number, date of birth, a valid major credit or debit card.

What is the price of an official electronic transcript online?

$8.90 (this price includes school fee: $5 per copy, Clearinghouse online processing fee: $2.90 per recipient, plus an Electronic PDF Fee: $1.00 per copy/order).  Credit or Debit Cards will be accepted for payment.

 

What if I attended before 1998?

If you attended before 1998, you can do a transcript order for the mailing option only; you will not be able to order an electronic PDF transcript. Your order may also require additional days for processing. Delays could happen as a result of holidays, weekends, approvals of attachments or student information entered incorrectly.

 

Can I attach additional documents to my transcript?

While placing your transcript order, you may submit up to three attachments to be sent along with your transcript.  Attachments may be included for all delivery options.  These attachments may include documents that the University needs to fill out on your behalf or documents that are simply required to accompany your transcript.  The University reserves the right to review and refuse the sending of any attachments. Attachments may be in PDF, doc, docx, jpg, or jpeg format. 

Can I delay processing until my semester grades or graduation posts?

Yes, you can choose from the following options:

Current transcript

Transcript after End of Semester Grades

Transcript after Degree Posted *

*PLEASE NOTE: This option is for seniors who have not yet graduated. If you have already earned a degree, please choose the “Current Transcript” option. Orders in this category made by individuals who are not actively working toward a degree will be cancelled.

 

How do I change my name or address?

In order to update your name or address in the student record, you must complete an Address and Name Change form.  When you submit the Address and Name Change form, please be sure to attach a copy of a supporting document. This document must show the new name and must be legible. Acceptable forms of documentation include:  marriage certificate, court order, passport, driver’s license or permanent resident card and Social Security Card.

Can I order a paper transcript?

A standard paper Transcript Request order form to be sent by mail or filled out in person. Please see form for pricing and processing options.  Completed forms can be dropped off in our office in Parenzo Hall room 150 or mailed to:

You will need to have a valid state-issued ID to pick up your transcript in our office.
