Stephen Adams

Biography

Stephen Adams teaches literature courses across a range of periods, with a primary interest in novels and other prose forms.  He has published on autobiography and the history of the essay, especially in England during the 1700s.  Currently he is developing creative nonfiction set in the 1960s and ‘70s, parts of which he has read and published through the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature.  He enjoys working with students on their writing at all stages of their collegiate careers.
